Under the watchful eye of founder and namesake Roland Gumpert, former chief of Audi Sport, German supercar manufacturer Gumpert knows speed. At various times, its cars have beaten track times set by the mighty Bugatti Veyron. However, unlike the Veyron—despite that hefty price tag—Gumpert automobiles still haven't cracked household name status.

Things may change in March, when the production model Tornate hits the floor of the Geneva Auto Show. Leaks show minor tweaks from the concept—a smaller grille—but the same V8 engine kicking 690 horsepower. The car promises a shake up in the supercar market...at least in terms of offering a potential rival to the established leaders.
