Rick Majerus, former head coach of the Utah Utes and, most recently, the St. Louis Billikens died tonight of heart failure. He won 517 games in his career and is best remembered for his time at Utah. There, along with Keith Van Horn, Michael Doleac and Andre Miller, he led the Utes to the 1997 title game where they lost to Kentucky 72-59. He was coaching at St. Louis until he announced he wouldn't be returning for the 2012-2013 season due to heart problems. Majerus was a great coach that had an even greater sense of humor. He was a teacher of the game and proved it by winning at schools like Utah and St. Louis. Last year, he took the Billikens to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2000.

Rick Majerus was 64.
