Lionel Messi already has the distinction of being possibly the best soccer player in the world, but it's clear the superstar isn't resting on the throne. Messi is still breaking records and he shattered another one today. Leo surpassed German legend Gerd Muller's 40-year record for most goals in a calendar year with his two goals in Barcelona's 2-0 victory against Real Betis. He's totaled 86 goals this year.

The accomplishments are piling up for Messi. All at the age of 25.
