The wait is finally over! Six months after they faced off against one another in the 2012 NBA Finals, the Heat and the Thunder will finally meet again at 5:30 p.m. today in the biggest Christmas Day game of the year. It could very well be a preview of what's to come in the 2013 NBA Finals.

But, for now, both sides are still saying all the right things and showing a lot of love to one another. Earlier this week, Kevin Durant sat down with ESPN and sang the praises of his good friend LeBron James. And, yesterday, King James returned the favor by giving some props to KD as well.

"I think he's a better player," James said when asked about the difference between Durant this year as opposed to last year. "He continues to get better."

James also had nice things to say about Durant's teammate Russell Westbrook.

"They're the two best players in the league," he said. "You don't even have to say at their respective positions. They're just two of the best."

Let's hope the lovefest ends at around, oh, 5:29 p.m. There's a game to be played, fellas. Let's do this!
