The Lakers are 8-9 on the season right now—and Kobe Bryant isn't happy about it. Specifically, he's not happy with the way his longtime teammate Pau Gasol has been playing in new head coach Mike D'Antoni's system. So, after Gasol sat out the last six minutes of last night's Lakers home loss to the Magic (yes, the Magic!), KB24 called Gasol out and told him it's time to start playing better.

"Put your big-boy pants on," Kobe told reporters when asked about Gasol. "Just adjust. Just adjust. You can't whine about it. You can't complain about it."

But, Kobe also made one thing perfectly clear: He's not singling Gasol out. And, if he has to call out more of his teammates in order to get better results, he will.

"I'll kick everybody's ass in this locker room if that doesn't happen," he said. "That's the attitude that you have to have. Metta [World Peace] is the same way. Dwight [Howard] has that in him as well. Even though he smiles a lot, he still cares a lot about this thing. Like I said, come hell or high water, it has to get done."

Ah, so this is why his wife loves him so much, huh?
