After sliding from #3 to #8 last week, the Kentucky Wildcats have completely fallen out of the AP's Top 25 poll. This is the biggest single-week drop from the AP's Top 25 since it was expanded to 25 teams in 1990. Also, this is the first time, in the John Calipari era of Kentucky, that the team has finished any week out of the top 25 poll.

After losses to Baylor and Notre Dame, Kentucky fell to a 4-3 record. The loss to Baylor snapped the Cats' 55-game home winning streak.

Kentucky was ranked in the poll for 61 straight weeks starting during the pre-season of the 2009-10 season. Now, Duke has the longest current streak at 101 weeks, followed by Kansas at 69 weeks.

Let's hope this doesn't make John Calipari want to make a return to the NBA.
