Has the Mark Sanchez era reached its conclusion in New York? After getting benched yesterday in favor of third-stringer Greg McElroy, the Jets are reportedly looking into trading the four-year quarterback at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season. Of course, Gang Green will face some adversity since they would be expected to take on a majority of Sanchez's guaranteed $8.25 million base salary for 2013.

With Sanchez possibly heading out the door, rumors have already started circulating that Michael Vick, who is expected to be released by the Philadelphia Eagles at the end of the season, would be interested in joining the Jets, if Sanchez is "out of the equation." With the New York Daily News also reporting that head coach Rex Ryan "loves" Vick, it seems that all signs to MV calling MetLife Stadium home next season. Or, maybe Vick will come to his senses and realize that the Rex circus isn't where he wants to be.
