Only three of Ford's first cars, the Model A, were made, and only chassis #3 still exists. As a part of the celebration of Henry Ford's 150th birthday, Bill Ford Jr., Henry's great grandson, just bought Model A #3, thus bringing the oldest surviving Ford car back into the family. While Ford did not tell us what the purchase price was, we do know that in 2007 it was sold for $693,000, an 81,000% return on the original $850 investment
