Today's NFL games will go on with the memories of the Sandy Hook victims still on players and various personnel's minds. The New England Patriots are planning to wear black ribbon logos on their helmets to remember the tragedy. They will also have a moment of silence before their matchup against the 49ers accompanied by 26 white flares representing each of the victims. The New York Giants will have S.H.E.S (Sandy Hook Elementary School) written on their helmets in their game against the Falcons, and head coach Tom Coughlin will have the initials written on his cap.
Victor Cruz said he will be wearing the No. 6 on his gloves and cleats in memory of Jack Pinto, who was 6 years old. The wide receiver said the family was thinking about burying Pinto in Cruz's No. 80 jersey.
