ESPN Announcer Blames Angel Rodriguez's "Puerto Rican Temper" for Committing a Foul

It's gotta be that, right?

Oh ESPN, you never cease to amaze us. Recently, you guys gave us Rob Parker who questioned Robert Griffin III's "blackness." And just when you thought that you were out of the woods after suspending Parker for a month, a new problem has come forth and his name is announcer Mitch Holthus.

Midway through the second half of yesterday's college basketball game between Kansas State and Florida, KSU's Angel Rodriguez committed a third foul and while the two announcers discussed his actions, Holthus dropped a bit of knowledge saying, "That's sometimes where the Puerto Rican temper kicks in there. They need him on the floor instead of picking up a third foul."

Ah yes, Holthus, that "Puerto Rican temper" ain't nothing to eff with.
