We'll miss the roar, though.

Electric vehicles arrived in 2012 with one clear message to the public: Fuck the haters. You think they're too expensive? Grab a smart electric drive for $25K before incentives. Think they're ugly? You obviously haven't seen the BMW i3 or the BMW Active E. Too slow? You get to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds in the Rimac Concept_One. No range? How about 300 miles in the Tesla Model S. Engineers are found a way to quell all concerns about electric cars. Now, the process is still in its refining stages, of course, but the Model S is showing that a total package for a decent price is here.

There is one thing that we didn't cover: Sheer brute force from an electric car, and that's why we're here to show you this video of the new all-electric BigFoot monster truck. It's got three packs of 10 Enersys Odyssey batteries for a total production of 360 volts. This powers a 260kW, 350hp electric motor with 850 (!) ft-lb of torque. Each of those batters weights 38 lbs., so this thing's got plenty of weight. Watch it in action in the video below.
