Maybe NBA referee Courtney Kirkland was trying to save Kris Humphries from attempting a free throw that could've been worse than Appalachian State's Brian Okam. We kid. OK, the real reason Kirkland literally went up to reject Humphries was to get some substitutions in between shots at the stripe.
The Brooklyn Nets' 2012-13 season is only 21 games old and Humphries has already gotten into a scratch-inducing shoving match with Rajon Rondo and now this. What could possibly come next for Kris?
