Chris Johnson Wrote the Names of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Victims on His Cleats Last Night

It was a really nice gesture.

Over the weekend, we saw a few different athletes like LeBron James and Kevin Durant honor those who had been killed during the tragedy in Newton, Conn. last Friday by writing "NEWTOWN, CT" on their sneakers. But, Titans running back Chris Johnson took it to a whole other level last night during Tennessee's Monday Night Football game against the Jets. Instead of simply writing "NEWTOWN, CT," he wrote the names of all 26 Sandy Hook Elementary School victims on his cleats. And then, he went out and played one of his best games of the season, busting off a 94-yard TD run in the second quarter that helped the Titans secure a 14-10 win and knock the Jets out of the AFC playoff picture.

Check out a few different views of the cleats in the thumbs gallery above. Nice gesture, CJ.
