In November 2011, Junior Dos Santos made quick work of Cain Velasquez and defeated him in the 1st round by knockout. In UFC 155, their rematch was a different story. Velasquez looked like a different competitor. He was continually working to set the pace throughout the fight by landing punch after punch on Dos Santos while mixing in a couple takedown attempts. As for Dos Santos, he was rarely able to get any offense going aside from landing a decent combo in the 3rd round and a couple jabs here and there. To say that Cigano was playing defense most of the time would actually be an understatement.

With his victory in Las Vegas tonight, Velasquez reclaims the UFC Heavyweight Championship and improves his career record to 11-1.
