Andruw Jones Was Arrested After Getting Into a Domestic Dispute With His Wife Early Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning, though?

Lots and lots of professional athletes have gotten themselves arrested in 2012 for doing all sorts of dumb shit. But, former MLB All-Star Andruw Jones—who just signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract to play with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in Japan's Pacific League next season after spending the last two years with the Yankees—may have just topped them all. He was arrested and charged with battery on Christmas morning (!!!) after getting into some sort of domestic dispute with his wife in Duluth, Ga. Police had to be called at around 1:30 a.m. after the dispute went down, and Jones got hauled off to jail and booked at 3:45 a.m. He was later able to post a $2,400 bond and go home at around 11 a.m...but not before his Christmas morning was ruined.

We're not sure exactly what happened between Jones and his wife yet. But, we do know that neither of them will forget about Christmas 2012 anytime soon. What a way for them to spend the most wonderful time of the year, eh?
