Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim earned win No. 900 of his storied career against Detroit last night. And, when he took the podium after the game for his press conference, he knew he'd have all eyes on him. So, he did something that was kind of controversial—he used his platform to make a pitch for gun control. Specifically, he said that, as a country, we need to do something to stop tragedies like the one that just took place in Newtown, CT from happening.
