A College Football Player's Brother Was Shot and Killed Over a Pair of Air Jordan XI "Bred" Sneakers Recently

So senseless.

Marion Grice is a star running back for the Arizona State Sun Devils, who are currently preparing to play Navy in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl later this week. He's also the brother of a man who was shot and killed in Houston last weekend over a pair of Air Jordan XI "Bred" sneakers. According to police, Grice's brother purchased the sneakers and was walking back to his car when two men approached him and demanded the sneakers at gunpoint. He refused to give them up, though, and jumped into his car in an effort to make an escape. But, the men fired several shots at him and one of them hit Grice's brother, who was driving the car, in the head and killed him.

Such a sad story and so senseless. As of now, Grice is away from the ASU team tending to his family. But, he is expected to suit up on Saturday to play against Navy.
