In October, Vikings QB Ponder came out and said that, yes, ESPN reporter Samantha Steele was now his official designated receiver. When Ponder's performance hit the skids in the weeks after, jerk-off fans said that the practice of having a girlfriend clearly was to blame. Ponder addressed the non-situation situation after the Vikes beat the Lions with a tweet in which he thanked Samantha for helping the team win.
