Team: Tampa Bay Bandits
Years of Ownership: 1983-1986
Championships Won and Playoff Appearances: Zero championships / Two playoff appearances

The big lesson to remember here is that you cannot challenge the entity that is the NFL, and the USFL was no exception to this. And surely you can't expect to have success when your team is based on the Smokey and the Bandit movies, right? Wait just a minute because the Burt Reynolds led Bandits boasted one of the leagues best attendance records and had the most sound finances. This was all in spite of their 10-38 record from 1983-1985, now that's winning. Unfortunately the league and team went belly up in 1986, but don't worry kids, Reynolds would grace the gridiron again in an Adam Sandler flick that will remain nameless.
