Over the summer, we learned that Luther Campbell—aka Uncle Luke aka Luke Skyywalker—had been certified to coach high school football in Florida. Now, we get an update on it in the form of a new New York Times piece written by Greg Bishop. In the story, we also get an up-close-and-personal look at what life is like for Uncle Luke right now. We learn that he's a family man these days. We learn that he enjoys baking cupcakes (WTF?!). We learn that he loves golfing. We learn that he hates Skip Bayless (join the club, Luke!). And, we learn about the crazy parties he used to throw on his yacht.
It's interesting, to say the least. And, if you've got 20 minutes to spare, it's definitely worth a read. Check it out over here.
