When most people think of alternative fuel, they usually think electric, bio-diesel, or hydrogen. Industrial designer Dean Benstead’s O2 Pursuit project hopes to change that with an oxygen-powered motorcycle prototype. Built around a Yamaha WR250R frame and capable of speeds of up to 87 mph and travelling up to 100 km on a the air stored in single standard scuba diving tank, the project involves changing the urban landscape to allow for refill stations and an app that will allow users to locate the stations. The O2 Pursuit may very well be the ride of the future. Check it out in the video below:
