If one takes the already amazing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, cuts out 154lbs of weight, upped power to 622hp, slaps on a bit of carbon fiber everything, upgrades the suspension, adds a trick electronically controlled differential, and replaced the brakes with a lightweight pair of carbon-ceramic ones, you get the SLS AMG Black Series.
All of that upgrading has dropped the 0-60 time to only 3.5 seconds, and brought the top speed all the way up to 196mph. The handling will be improved to match the improved performance as well, although there are no grip figured yet.
While the car will go on sale next summer, Mercedes has not yet announced pricing; expect it to be high... very high.
