President: John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon
JFK was the president during a technical revolution in aerospace. As such, he was the first president to order a seriously fast jet for getting around the country. The modified Boeing 707, designated C-137 Stratoliner, was originally going to be painted in red and gold, but the Kennedys though it looked too regal, and created a livery more fitting of a public servant.
After Kennedy's death, Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn into office aboard the Stratoliner.
