It's been recently announced that 2013 models of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class may feature Continental’s newly developed Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) business unit, which uses a stereo camera to analyze road conditions, alllowing the car to automatically brake and steer to avoid collisions with pedestrians.
