28. Devin Harris, Atlanta Hawks
2011-2012 Stats: 11.3 PPG 1.8 RPG 5.0 APG 1.0 SPG
2012-2013 Salary: $8.5 million
Devin Harris has been traded more times than we care to count. He's one of those 'tweener guys—good enough to be a point guard, but not big enough to be a shooting guard. His talent and his contract have been valuable assets on the trade market, hence his tradability.
But the fact remains: Devin Harris doesn't make players better. To be fair, other than the Mavericks, he's played with Utah and the Nets, so it's not like he played with top-notch talent. He and Jason Terry gave NBA backcourts fits while he was with Dallas and they made it to the Finals in 2006. But when they lost the very next year to the Warriors in the first round and the Mavs realized they needed leadership. So, in 2008 they dealt Devin to Jersey for Jason Kidd. Looks like that move panned out.
