Is J-Lin Overrated? The 2012-13 NBA Point Guard Rankings

1. Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers

2011-2012 Stats: 19.8 PPG 3.6 RPG 9.1 APG 2.5 SPG
2012-2013 Salary: $17.7 million

When we're talking about a pure point guard, we're talking about CP3. The man can score like Isiah, can distribute the rock like Magic, and don't forget about his sticky fingers. The god averages 2.4 steals for his career and will take your cookies with a smile. Along with David West, he led the Hornets to three playoff berths in six years.

Remember those Hornets teams with Okafor in the middle and Mo Pete on the wing? Yeah, CP3 made them better. In fact, he makes everyone better. As soon as he was traded to the Clippers, they became instant players in the West. Paul was the unsung hero of the 2012 London Games. He managed Team USA like a true floor general and was given the game ball after the gold medal game. When healthy, Chris Paul is the best point guard in the game, hands down.
