Honda Reveals Their "Micro Commuter Prototype" Electric Vehicle

The company introduces a new all-electric ride to the Japanese market.

While it can only do 50 mph the Honda "Micro Commuter Prototype," due to begin testing in Japan in 2013, features the company's Variable Design Platform, positioning the car's integral components such as the battery, motor, and control unit under the floor and in the rear, allowing for a more driver configuration options. The car will also feature some interesting features including the ability to use any third party tablet as a battery meter, navigation, audio, and back-up camera display.
