Ducati went big today, unveiling not just one, but three all new bikes. We'd like to introduce you to the 1199 Panigale R, Diavel Strada, and Hypermotard, each with new features and style tweaks. The release of the Panigale R forms a full family of the Ducati superbikes. This model was developed by Ducati Corse specifically for World Superbike homologation. The "R" race kit comes with a racing screen, fairing mirror caps in machined alloy and a full Termignoni exhaust system with dedicated ECU mapping, a 4-point adjustable swingarm pivot, and plenty of carbon fiber accents. The Diavel Strada power cruiser, Ducati's bike made for longer journeys, has a newly positioned screen, a larger seat, higher handlebars for better posture, and 41 liters of side luggage space.
The Hypermotard release is actually three bikes in itself (the Hypermotard, the high-performance Hypermotard SP, and the touring Hyperstrada) and has one of the biggest additions of the new models, with a 110hp liquid-cooled engine. That level of power can be reached through both sport and touring modes, or you can level the horsepower out at 75 for urban situation. Maintaining its signature minimalist design, the Hypermotard comes in at just 385.8 pounds.
