Chrysler Won't Kill Lancia

Integration of Italian brand and American behemoth getting closer.

Last week, rumors swirled that Italian automaker Lancia had seen its final days. Untrue, says Scott Brown, a spokesman for Fiat-Chrysler, "A development has been announced, not the end of Lancia." The Ypsilon—a fabled supermini—will continue Italian production, while Chrysler's global platforms will become more prevalent in Southern Europe through the Italian badge.

Hopefully, we'll get some return styling too.
