The former Tennessee Volunteer is wanted by Atlanta police for allegedly hitting her ex-girlfriend's car with a bat and shooting a gun at her. The dispute happened on Thursday night. According to Jennifer Lacy—her ex and a member of the Tulsa Shock—Tuesday night, Chamique Holdsclaw asked if she could put something in her car. On Thursday, Lacy smelled gasoline in her car and noticed that Holdsclaw was following her while she was driving home from church. Once Lacy stopped by a friend's house, Holdsclaw got out of her car and began to smash Lacy's Range Rover with a bat. She then fired a 9mm into the vehicle and fled the scene. She is wanted for aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.
After starring at Tennessee as the best player in women's hoops, Chamique suffered from depression during her early years in the WNBA. This is a sad state of affairs for the former star. We hope she can get her life together after this.
