If fuel efficiency isn't a major concern to you when buying a car, you are either Cash Money's Baby or an oil baron. We're neither. We care about MPH.

Naturally, news of a 235 mpg ready vehicle is exciting. Audi's proposing to offer all the bells and whistles we want in a contemporary car with all the efficiency we desire. How? The new "1.0-liter" will employ injection-molded carbon fiber body panels to lighten curb weight. The drivetrain remains a mystery, but an electric motor will likely feature in some capacity.
