What's one thing that Queen Elizabeth II and at least 10 famous rappers have in common? Both Her Majesty and and a number of rap superstars seem to have an affinity for Land Rover cars, with the Queen frequently spotted behind the wheel of a Range Rover. Commissioned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1978 the green Land Rover Series III AKA the "Royal Review State" V Series III in the images above comes under the hammer on November 24 by Brooklands and is expected to fetch between $23,870 and $28,640.

The Queen's Land Rover Series III is an off-road vehicle originally inspired by the US-built Willys Jeep, it's still in full working condition and has a mileage of only 1,892. The royal ride also boasts a number of state-of-the-art modifications, including a traffic-light system that enabled Her Majesty to signal the driver to start, slow or stop.
