Ford has built every Mustang since 2004 at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. On average, 500 cars are built each shift. 5 percent are chosen for a full track evaluation.

In "2nd Shift Drift", Vaugh Gittin Jr., the 2010 Formula Drift champion, pulls his Monster Energy Falken Tire Ford Mustang RTR off the line and pushes it to the limit. Needless to say, the short clip is wildly entertaining.
