Few people entertain like Usain Bolt. His newest role lends credence to that claim. The Olympic Champion has been named Nissan's "Director of Excitement." Chief to this position is lending performance instincts to a new "Bolt" version GT-R. Appearing at Nissan's world headquarters in Tokyo, Bolt said, "Racing is my inspiration, and I want to help Nissan become an even more exciting brand for everyone."
Celebrating Bolt's increased interaction with Nissan—the relationship began before the 2012 London Olympics when the sprinter become an official spokesman—COO Toshiyuki Shiga unveiled a special edition gold-painted GT-R, the only specimen of its kind. The car will be auctioned in benefit of the Usain Bolt Foundation.
