Don't worry, the United States Grand Prix is still on for November 16th in Austin, TX, but the Grand Prix of the Americas, which will take place just outside of New York in Jersey, has been delayed until 2014. Bernie Ecclestone, F1's supreme dictator, said of the event "Everything is set up but now it's too late to finish on time."
At least we know the race is still on, we're looking forward to seeing F1 cars tear up the streets and hopefully getting invited to a few yacht parties. It's F1, there are always yacht parties.
