"Man, NBA players really take a long time to walk out onto the floor to start games," says no one. Yet, David Stern just found a way to ruin all of the fun pregame rituals (see: LeBron James tossing chalk into the air) that NBA players have become accustomed to doing before the start of games.

According to a new rule that was just put into place, players will now have 90 seconds between the time pregame introductions end and the start of the game to walk out onto the floor so that a jump ball can take place. Apparently, the league wants to limit all of the extracurriculars like hand shaking (and chalk tossing!) that take place before games. But, it already sounds like some players aren't happy with Stern's decision (imagine that!).

"I personally don't like it," Kevin Durantsaid recently. "Every player in the league has routines they do with their teammates, rituals they do before the game and before they walk on the floor. The fans like it. The fans enjoy it. You see the fans mimicking the guys who do their stuff before the game. To cut that down really don't make no sense. Why would you do it? I really don't agree with it, but I don't make the rules."

No, KD, you don't. David Stern does. So, sit down, shut up, and…No, wait. Don't sit down! You only have five seconds to get out to center court. Let's gooooooo!
