For months now, we've been keeping a close eye on the fate of former Bengals cheerleader Sarah Jones. She was arrested earlier this year and accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy during her time as an English teacher at Dixie Heights High School in Kentucky. And, we finally have a verdict: Jones will not serve any jail time after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors that will instead see her receive five years of diversion. The diversion will require her to report to a probation officer, be subjected to drug tests, and steer clear of teaching ever again.

"I began a romantic relationship while he was a student and I was in a position of authority," Jones, now 27, said in court earlier today.

She also had to admit to having a "sexual relationship and sexual intercourse" with the boy as part of the plea deal. But, considering that she could have received five years in jail and been forced to register as a sex offender, she got off pretty easy in exchange for admitting the truth. Case closed.
