Sid the Kid is supposed to be the future. He was the youngest player to ever lead the NHL in scoring when he had 120 points in '07. These days he's a couple concussions away from retirement. He suffered a concussion on consecutive days in January of 2011 which caused him to miss the remainder of the season. Crosby continued to experience concussion-like symptoms and only played in 22 games during the 2012 season. Yet, he played well during that short period, so Pittsburgh decided to give the Kid a 12-year, $104.4 million extension.
