The BMW R 1200 GS is back with a newly redesigned engine. The GS, which is the best-selling travel enduro in the world, now has a boxer engine with vertical through-flow, integrated gearbox and left-hand cardan shaft drive. For the first time on a GS, an electromotive throttle actuator, which just means it has ride-by-wire throttle control. It's got a 6-gear wet clutch instead of the dry clutch used before, and it has five riding modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic, Enduro and Enduro Pro. As a bike that offers 125 bhp but only weighs 525 pounds, it's a great bike for any condition.
