Texas has the country's first 85mph highway, which is a great thing, but people keep getting into accidents with feral hogs on it, which is certainly not a great thing. Opponents of the road's high speed limit say that that is the cause of the accident, but seeing as the pigs lurk in the ditches to the sides of the road before attempting to cross, reducing the speed limit wouldn't necessarily help with this problem.
Authorities remind motorists that swerving to avoid the pigs is much more dangerous than simply hitting them, and have placed a $2 bounty on their tails.
