It takes some serious balls to do speed runs on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Salt is not sticky; salt will make you drift back and forth. Al Lamb demonstrated that he has some serious balls by taking a Honda CBR1000 that has been modified to the tune of 400hp all the up to 265mph on the flats. If the FIM governing body ratifies the speed it will be a new record.
