Well, this sucks. Although we feared for the worst when we heard that Ray Lewis was injured yesterday, it's now official: The Ravens linebacker will miss the rest of the 2012-13 NFL season with a torn triceps muscle.
Ray Lewis done for the year, torn triceps. May be the end of one of the legendary careers in the NFL.— Dan Wetzel (@DanWetzel) October 15, 2012
In six games played this season, Ray had 57 tackles, 1 sack and a forced fumble. The last time he missed significant time was in 2005 when he tore his right hamstring.
What a shame. We sincerely hope this isn't the end of the road for him.
