After the Jets' brutal shutout loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday, you had to believe that the Tim Tebow talk was going to reach an all-time high in New York. But, is Tebow the answer? Head coach Rex Ryan doesn't think so, however, the guy that's cutting his checks may be thinking otherwise.

According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, two people “who know Johnson, and know how he runs his football operation believe he will push his football people to start Tebow.” Now, if all of this "owner pushing the coaching staff to start Tebow" business sounds all too familiar, don't forget that last season when Touchdown Timmy was riding the bench for the Broncos, their management ended up getting Tim the starting job after then-starter Kyle Orton just wasn't getting it done.

Are we headed in that direction again? Another blowout on Monday night, courtesy of the undefeated Houston Texans, could just do it.
