Seems like everyone is trying to simplify the design of the bicycle these days. The latest spin on the centuries old mode of transportation, the chain-less, electric, folding Mandoo Footloose is being called the "iPhone of bicycles," due to it's stunning slew of innovative features. The Footloose makes use of a system that essentially turns the bike into it's own generator, charging it's battery with every pedal stroke. It get's even more interesting with the addition of an automatic gear changer, which senses and adjusts for terrain, displaying speed, distance, and electricity generated on a removable handlebar-mounted unit. Expect to see these on sale some time next year in Europe.
