With 94 turnovers in only five preseason games, saying that the Dallas Mavericks have had a difficult time maintaining their possession is an understatement. To help our audience better comprehend the magnitude of that statistic, we would probably say that the Mavs should put the 5 teams they have played as an income tax write-off for all their giveaways. However, that analogy pales in comparison to the, um, interesting one offered up by Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle.

"We're doing it every way you can do it," Carlisle said before Monday's game against the New Orleans Hornets. "If we were a sex manual, it'd be a best-seller."

Uh, what? We would expect that type of commentary from the Mavs' Delonte West, but hey, it looks like Redz is in good company with this organization.
