Former Boston Red Sox P Curt Schilling might have to sell the bloody sock that inspired Boston's first championship in 86 years. He wore the sock during the 2004 World Series vs. the St. Louis Cardinals and now has to get rid of it to cover his debts. The sock in question was promised to lenders along with a Lou Gehrig hat and his collection of World War II memorabilia. Schilling went bankrupt in June when his video game company, 38 Studios went under.
The sock could fetch up to $25,000.
