Toyota has revealed a new car, the "Information Network Social Electric City Transporter." Let's simplify that, shall we? With the fun-size iQ already in the range, Toyota is pushing further into new developments in urban transport with a concept they're called "INSECT" (see how that is a bit sexier than the full name?).

Most exciting is that the car debuts new Toyota technology. The one-seater, on display at the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies in Japan, employs motion sensors and facial recognition to automatically open and start when drivers approach. Could this technology be applied to other Toyota models…especially the ones we love here in the USA? Let's hope.
