It seems like something is missing, however.

The idea of 400hp and 350 ft-lbs of torque in the strange and sleek form of the Hyundai Veloster gets us excited. Especially if the powertrain in question is of Cosworth make. In the dream world in which we took over Lotus, we replaced all of the engines with Cosworth engines. Having seen the Veloster in the Global RallyCross Championship, the idea of a extremely powerful Veloster appeals to use even more. However, we don't like this car.

"Why," you ask? Because it's still front wheel drive. 400 horses in a front wheel drive car is a recipe for nothing more than torque-steer and frustration. If this had been converted to all-wheel drive like the GRC car, we'd be selling kidneys to afford it right now.
