Sad news out of Indianapolis today. Less than a month after making his debut as the head coach of the Colts, Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with leukemia and will be sidelined for the next six to eight weeks while he receives treatment for the disease. Colts owner Jim Irsay made the announcement earlier today during a press conference that went much differently than the last major press conference that the Colts held.

"I think it's unlikely [Coach Pagano] will be all in as head coach the rest of this season," Irsay said. "He may be able to come back and be in the press box or something."

Irsay also took to his Twitter account early this morning with a much more positive message about the Colts' 51-year-old head coach:

Colts n all NFL Fans..keep Coach Chuck n his family in your prayers..He is fighting with courageous energy n faith and WILL win this battle!

Damn. Like we said, this is obviously very sad news. And, unfortunately, it's not the first time that a Colts head coach has had to deal with a major crisis publicly. We wish him nothing but the best of luck during his recovery process.
