Most pro skateboarders ride their entire lives and maybe, if they're lucky, will have their own private skatepark in their backyards or will have a public park named after them. Lil Wayne, who we can barely call an amateur skateboarder without laughing, just decided to go ahead and open is own park. As a partner project with Mountain Dew, the park in New Orleans' 9th Ward is an effort to bring some life back into the still-suffering areas that were hit by Katrina.

He spoke with Network A and revealed his personal goal of being on a flow team for a major skate company. He might need to build a house next to that park, if he's serious about that. He also compared skating to music, in that both have consumed him in a similar manner. He says that skating is a little more free, though.
